The Chevra Kadisha B’Nai Jacob Beit Hazikaron Beth Hillel Congregation comprises approximately 500 families, from diverse backgrounds and represents one of Montreal’s most established orthodox Ashkenaz Synagogues as well as a younger, thriving Sephardi minyan. This beautiful synagogue, is strategically located at the border of Hampstead and Snowdon and comprises a 3 reception halls including a spectacular 600 seat ballroom and community centre which serve the religious, educational and social needs of our families, embracing young and old in a comprehensive program of religious services, study and education, social events and fun.
Our synagogue is committed to expanding our young family and young adult relationships by being a warm and inviting center of Torah study and Jewish learning, Tefilla services and Gemilut Chasadim, through Chevred Chesed Committee, our bridal Gemach and numerous other Tzedakah and Chesed projects.
